In the summer of 2025 I visited the south of The Netherlands nd took photos in the nature areas Kampina, de Grote Peel, de Biesbosch, Landgoed de Hamert and de Groene Jonkert. I added several birds to my list of Lifers again (that is the list of birds you have seen for the first time) which stand currently at 185 birds. During the first days the weather was very hot which kept the birds away as well as myself. I still had a good time and enjoy the photos.

I visited Oost-Vlieland in September to see migrating birds. Unfortunately due to the exceptional good weather (above 20 degrees C) the migration was delayed but I still managed to find a wide variety of different birds, amongst them several I saw for the first time.
